Surrogates

What is a Surrogate?

A gestational carrier or surrogate is a woman who agrees to bear a child for another person or persons, who will become the child’s parent after birth. You will not have biological ties to the child(ren) you will be carrying. With gestational surrogacy the egg comes from the intended mother or an egg donor. The sperm comes from the intended father or a sperm donor. The embryo is created through in vitro fertilization (IVF) and can then be transferred to the surrogate mother or can be frozen for future use.
